No Soapbox Today

Hi there!

Hope everyone is doing well...everything is great here. No getting on the soapbox today, just an update. :D

Blaze is scheduled to leave between Jan 1 and Jan 15, they've already begun shipping their equipment to Afghanistan. He got his first round of vaccinations today, he didn't give me the full list, but I know he got his Anthrax vaccine. I'm pretty sure that's why he came home from work (didn't even change out of his uniform, odd for him) and passed out on the couch. I've been trying to get him up to shower and go to bed for about an hour now...I think I'm going to give up and let him sleep where he's at. 18 day block leave is supposed to start tomorrow for his unit, but they've told him he won't be taking his leave until I have Beau. At first that sounded horrible, that he would have to work while everyone else was on vacation, but now we understand that he's getting 18 days (as opposed to the standard 10) when I have Beau. Also, those days that everyone's gone, he'll basically be getting up to do PT then come immediately home and hang out with me. :) :)

As far as Beau and I are concerned, we're great! I've been doing weekly appointments for about 3 weeks now, at this point, I'm just waiting. As all the mom's out there know, it's probably going to be the longest 3 weeks ever!! Anyway, things are great, I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. My back hurts if I'm on my feet too much, and Braxton-Hicks contractions are more frequent but I can't complain too bad. Most of the time I manage not to waddle and there's little to no swelling so I'm still feeling pretty good about myself. :)
